• Each entry in a matrix is called an element.

• The elements of the matrix are 2, 5, - 4, and 3.

More about Element

• Element of a set: Numbers, letters of the alphabet or any other object in a set are called elements of the set.

For example, the elements of the set {2, 7, 3} are 2, 3, and 7.
