Definition of FOIL Method
- FOIL Method is a method used for finding the product of two binomials. FOIL method states that the product of two binomials is the sum of the products of the First terms, the Outer terms, the Inner terms, and the Last terms.
Examples of FOIL Method
- Consider the binomial (5a + 2) and (7a + 4). The product of these two binomials is given by:
